So I made us a rather complete qcard/sysex collection

Post by DrGonzo »

After getting my new QS8.1 recently I undertook the challenge of scrounging the internet and the wayback machine for any and all files and programs to make my life easier.

To make matters worse, I am a stubborn linux user and was not happy with the currently available sysex and patch editing software.....

It seems the handful of linux ones are mostly incomplete or crazy complicated...
And the only worthwhile ones that are still maintained are outrageously expensive....

So I dug through all the abandonware I could find and came across a lovely program with rather complete features called QControl... its an old win98/xp program but it works perfect via WINE

But sadly it was crippled demo and the original author ain't answering my messages......
SOOOO...... I decided to finally learn Ghidra enough to unleashed the full functionality !!!!!!

Also included is a rather complete collection of every QCard image file, All the extra Sysex Banks I could find (including the Expandos) and a few other goodies to make life easier for everyone that comes after me.

Thank you very much for putting this together! Is the file for the WorldEthnic card correct? I don't see any WorldEthnic SysEx files, only one DiscImage file. Or is that DiscImage file all that is needed to make a generic PCMCIA card work?
