Something I hadn't tried until now-I selected from category "more" in program selection program H-1-Agoro Worm. Then I selected "edit"-"create song" in order to transfer this sound program into a song format with its effects, which I have done with many other programs in many categories with no problems. This one program however, when I attempted this, twice, crashed the entire Fusion. it also sent out the horrible message "veng failed to initialize"-and i know what that means, it crashed one of the 2 voice engines. Had to restart the Fusion to get it to work again so the keyboard is OK, and trying the process again produced the same results.
I have no idea why this happened. Even more oddly, when I created a song bringing in a different program using this process, to get one track in place-I could now select H-1 to place in another track, and it worked-but didn't sound quite the same, so this problem must have something to do with the modulation routings in the program or how the effects are applied when transferring to the song format. Admittedly, this is not a sound I would normally use in a song (!!!!) unless I wanted real weirdness-which i often do-but I am not sure now if it is just my old Fusion, or will occur on all of these.
If anybody is willing to try to repeat this problem, let me know what your results are. This Fusion has been through alot-several surgeries and a few transplants, so it could be this particular one, but I'd be interested to find out whether it is or isn't just this one.
Tried this with my other Fusion-same results. Very odd, wish I iknew why this is happening-I will experiment with more sounds like this one-it is a rather complex sound, with many modulation routings, which I suspect is why it crashes the voice engine.
