You put the file in the right folder (earlier in this thread) and it will show up in midi device manager.

------------------

MIDI Devices are configured in the MIDI Device Manager, and you can add one by clicking the Install Device button and selecting the appropriate device from the Add MIDI Device window and clicking OK. The device you've just added should be selected in the Installed Devices list. You can assign it to a MIDI output port by clicking the Output pop-up menu (just beneath the Import Setup button) and selecting the MIDI output port to which you have connected the actual hardware device.

------------------

Try your catagory script and see how it works.

Tacman, sorry, but I know that you do not have Fusion anymore (is becoming a great bomb...). In last update alesis implement MSB/LSB bank automatic response.. now, your script is not recognized anymore by the synth.. which parameter should I modify into existing txt to allow fusion reply Cubase preset select ?

Thank you very much and sorry for disturbing you

No problem I'll help if I can.

I just played around with the numbers and observed what happened.

So this was the way it was working, the p2's are just for cubase.

[p2, 0, 0, 0] Holy Grail Grand Piano
[p2, 1, 0, 0] Studio Upright
[p2, 2, 0, 0] Concert Plano & Choir
[p2, 3, 0, 0] Fusion Suitcase
[p2, 4, 0, 0] AcoustiLectric Piano
[p2, 5, 0, 0] Jam Wurly

[p2, 0, 1, 0] Holy Grail Jazz Piano
[p2, 1, 1, 0] Nashville Piano
[p2, 2, 1, 0] Stereo Piano & Strings
[p2, 3, 1, 0] Fusion Dyno Tines
[p2, 4, 1, 0] Modified Stage EP
[p2, 5, 1, 0] Wurly Velo

So the 1's changed the bank and the increments (12345) moved the program #. I would try making some test scripts like:

[p2, 0, 0, 0] Holy Grail Grand Piano
[p2, 1, 0, 0] Studio Upright
[p2, 2, 0, 0] Concert Plano & Choir

[p2, 0, 0, 1] Holy Grail Jazz Piano
[p2, 1, 0, 1] Nashville Piano
[p2, 2, 0, 1] Stereo Piano & Strings

If that doesn't work,
Try all possible combinations and observe what happens.
You might have to move the increments to another position, I think I did for my sw1000xg card.

I went for the Mo6 which is a good keyboard and all but it has full software support. So anything I do to any of the 16 midi channels, voices effects, balance, EQ, all changes are automatically remembered when I save/load a song.

Very nice, no more patch scripts.

Let me know what you find out on the script, and I'll make an updated version.

Thank you Tacman. Really, a pleasure. Yes, I love the integration of Yamaha to Cubase... :( someday Alesis will come ?

In the meantime, I've found this at SOS

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep04/a ... enotes.htm

With both, and your help I'll try to make some things ;)

I'll keep you posted ! Thank you again.
