You never know till you try, none of the ones I have tried worked, there are rumours of someone having succeeded, but no verification or listing of the adapter used :(

Re: Backlight repair

For the future you would be better off eliminating the OEM backlight, inverter PCB & dimmer PCB with an led backlight and just install an LED backlight https://www.alesismusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=5883 or New Display with LED Backlight https://www.alesismusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6563&start=30

Re: Resolving Velocity Issues

It would be a good know and post the serial number and date of manufacture on the 8HD that came with the TP40 keybed that would give us a time frame to establish when Alesis switched kebeds. My keyboard has green-blue plastic on the key ends so I guess it's a TP20, which makes sense because I preord...

Re: Resolving Velocity Issues

Very nice and interesting Austin :) How did you determine if you have a TP20 or TP40 keybed? All I found on one of my 8HD's was this label My Fusion 8HD keyboard is a FATAR.jpg Austin, you should put together a document with your keybed findings and upload it as a PDF file 7-10-0110 Keybed Assembly ...

Re: AlesisFusion Error's, Problems, Repairs, Upgrades, Utilities

Is this difference in heat between the HDD and the SSD based on actual measurements are just a sense of touch? Is this a timed measurement or just a feeling that it boots up faster? With ROM Preset 1 Holy Grail Grand Piano as the startup program my Fusion 8HD with a WD 160GB HDD formatted to 128 GB ...

Re: AlesisFusion Error's, Problems, Repairs, Upgrades, Utilities

If an additional whisper quiet computer fan were to be added to the Fusion to pull in cooler air it should have a replaceable filter on the outside to trap dust. If dust was pulled into the Fusion and collected on the circuit boards you could be creating additional problems to correct. By the way th...

I may be talking out my arse, but perhaps you could try removing and reseating the memory chip(s).

Paul
Hi Paul, unfortunately the original 64 mb of memory for each voice engine (if that's the culprit) is soldered onto the PCB :(
